Anyone have a New Vaquero?

I've like how they look and feel. I've never had the opportunity to shoot one though. I'd like a single action and I think the Vaquero is a sweet looking revolver. If anyone has or has had one in the past what is your opinion? Thanks for the input.

I've got the SS/ .357 , wanted one for a very long time . Its a very solid gun very smooth action, no sights just the groove on the back and the blade on front so aiming is somthing you'd have to get use to. Ive shot and hit a can in the air ( just to see if I could hit it) . I aslo have a Ruger BlackHawk .44 love 'em both. I went with the .357 just so I could use .38's also (cheaper) its one of my favorite guns.

Just my opinion, I dont think you'd be dissapointed if your looking for a pistola.

The New Vaquero is slightly smaller and lighter than the original or the NMBH. Feels closer to the Colt SAA. I don't care for the fake color case hardening. Mine is a 7.5" .45, fun shooter.

My wife has a 4" nickel model about 4 years old and I have the John Wayne Commemorative. We like both of'em.

I don't own one, yet. But I sure do like the way they feel. I too was disappointed withe the fake color case. I guess I'll buy a 4 5/8 SS when I can afford it.

Hey thanks for the input. I saw a photo of the 5 1/2" in gloss stainless with seudo ivory grips. It was absolutely gorgeous. I don't care for the color case either. Thanks again for the opinions. It's time to start saving my pennies.
