ok so this might be a stupid question but i'm curious. why is it that every semi-auto 22 handgun i have ever seen only ever holds 10+1??? I know they can double stack the centerfires and what not, but why not 22lr?
oh another random thought, does anyone other than grendel make a 22 mag semi pistol?
I beleive the reason is that you can't really stagger rimmed cartridges. That's why the Lee-Enfeld rifle, the Mosin Nagant, and basically every other box magazine-fed rifle/pistol with a rimmed cartridge uses a single stack.
Shoots good, others have said that it's a piece of junk, mine is a really good shooter, and fun. The manual says not to use CCI ammo, they use a flake powder, and can clog the ports in the barrel. That may be the reason that some have had problems?
Hmm idk. i have been tryin to decide what i wanna get next as far as guns go and i may have my dad buy a handgun to keep for a year til i'm 21, and i had wanted a plinker mainly so was thinkin 22, but i kinda want a little more power so 22 mag may be the ticket. who knows if i even will get one but if i do i may end up wiht a revolver as selection of 22 mag autos is somewhat limited lol.
