Looking at getting a CZ P-07 DUTY

Hey,
I'm looking at getting my first pistol and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion of the CZ P-07 DUTY.

I don't plan on getting my CCW right away. I may even get a different pistol for that. For right now I would like something to get better familiarized with using a pistol. Using it for a CCW is still a possibility, but again I plan to have more than one pistol in my lifetime.

Any thoughts on this firearm or even suggestions for a different one?

Well thank you, I noticed that its made of a polymer. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Looks amazing though!

Well it will definitely be lighter than a steel frame! some people like polymer some don't. Its all just personal preference i would say.

I doubt that you'll find anyone with an opinion on it yet, it hasn't been released quite yet. It's supposed to start shipping later this month or so I've heard.

If it wasn't my first pistol, maybe. I'm just not sure it would be good to purchase without seeing if it feels right first. I guess if i had more expendable cash I would go for it, but chances are I wont get a second pistol for a while. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one someplace.

I absolutely love mine! i dont regret it what so ever. Ive had the springfield XD, and this is by far a much better pistol. it has a fairly nice trigger for the price also.
