Bullfrog fishing

Anyone tried this? Long fly rod with a hook and a bit of red felt. Dangle the felt in front of Mr. frog...bam...and the fight is on. Usually use a boat with a friend to pole it. Slooooww and stealthy. Can just approach from the bank in some cases too, depending on terrain. Great stalking. Success is usually inversely proportional to quantity of beer consumed.

Caution: Not legal in some areas.

never tried that, but i used to go out to a pond when i was in the mountains, and tie a bobber to a string and a stick, and the darn frogs would attack the bobber. you could almost pick them up while they tried to bite that little red and white ball.
