I have some complaints won on in a raffle great looking gun bi tone stainless with black frame clipsprings are extreamly stiff and jams quite often I clean it from top to bottom and used clp to lube and still stove pipes use hot 700X loads with hornydays 115 need to be broken in no biggie but my xd 9mm and my most of the other handguns I bought run like they had thousands of rounds thought them out of the box fit and finish is good and breaks down easy it feels better than my xd in my hand barrel sits low low and not to much recoil the back of the frame has the raised hump in the back if you like that easy to change one pin and the thing is deadly accurate hit a navil orange 10 times medium to fast fire in a row at 25 yards the best thing i payed 10 dallars at a raffle for it not to chabby I would say it a buy.

buy it, I must be lucky but mine has never failed, I've had it since december 2007. Feels great, looks great, and is reliable (mine is). And a great price.

Check the ruger web site, they were recalled at 1 point. I don't know if they have the problems totally fixed.

yes they were recalled. any being sold in a gun shop should have been fixed. I like mine better after the recall, better trigger. You should rent one 1st and see how you like it. I was never a big ruger fan untill I saw and read a write up in guns and ammo about the sr9.

Thats not bad, about $100 more than sr9. Don't get me wrong, I love my sr9, but I think you got the better of the 2. Congrats and have fun with it.

The Sig is a great gun. I like the SR9 as well but it doesn't have the history of reliability yet that the Sig has. That being said it is on my list of guns to buy after shooting my buddies.

You know, Adam, that is just about what that Dan Wesson would have been with tax, had I paid what the guy was asking. You really like the trigger pull on the DW, don't you? Didn't it feel good in your hand? That single action pull is almost surreal, isn't it? Why don't you bring that sorry ol' Sig to the next show and compare it to the 3 barrel set DW with that incredible trigger pull, deep blue finish, great aftermarket case, etc. If you try real hard, you might get me to consider a trade.
