Although I havent been able to ride much the last couple of years, I like Mtn biking. I have crashed a few times.Once splitting my helmet down the middle but no injury because of it. As for the avatar,I was a firefighter in the USAF and also like Dalmations. When I first joined I was using this pic. It is of a tower crane and the Omaha skyline at 6am. I was in another tower crane about 230 ft in the air. We had to climb the whole way every day. But what aview.

A "steeple jack," huh? My comfort zone is up to about 35 ft. After that, you couldn't drive a needle up my a... with a sledge hammer! I climbed a radio tower in Oklahoma City one time, on a dare. I drank a six pack of beer before I did it. Problem was, I sobered up once I was at the top. The worst part was seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder off to my west! I came down faster then I went up. I wouldn't recommend this for folks afraid of heights. I looked like I had aged 20 years when I came down! Got back to the truck just about the time the storm hit. My buddies had another six pack waiting....

Thats funny Bob. I got caught up there a few times in storms. One time I lost power with a 70mph wind comming across the jib and couldnt turn out of it. They had to surgicly remove the seat from my butt.
