10/22

A somewhat local shop has a 10/22 he will sell me for $200 dollars out the door. It is new, not used. I think it may be the carbine model, not real sure. I believe it is wood stocked, with a blued receiver and barrel, it may be stainless I don't remember. It has iron sights, and drilled and tapped. I was looking for a semi-automatic .22 and that seems reasonably priced. If I get it I plan on doing some mods, trigger, barrel, stock etc. Do yall think this is a deal and worth buying. I think it is a nice gun, and would be suitable for plinking and squirrel hunting.

the 10/22 is a great gun for plinking and squirrel hunting. and the price on that is good if it includes tax. plues if you plan on doing mods than the 10/22 is the gun for you, there are tons and tons of after market parts for that gun.

P.S please dont double post.....

It'll be a great gun for you. I've seen them for as low as $169.00 but out the door they're considerably more.
Lots of things you can do with it if you'd like, later...It's expandable!

10/22

Congrats on your purchase and happy 10/22 shooting to ya! ZOBO said a mouthful when he said they are expandable...

Go shoot 1,000 rounds through it and then realize you are addicted to the versatility/upgradeability/and cheap shootin ability of the 10/22!

200 clams is a pretty good price for a new 10-22 now a days. I'd buy it.

Sorry about the double post. Won't do it again. Thought that different people are in different forums. Thanks for the info and opinions. Looks like a 10/22 will be the next addition to the gun cabinet.
