WOW, what people do to make a buck! I've got to figure something like this out so I can quit my day job. Maybe I need to trade $100 gift cards for guns, you know to get those nasty guns off the street. May someone would bring me a good one. I'm thinking antique or class III. I see $$$$$

With all that said, surprisingly enough, most of the indian tribes across the country have legends about a big foot type creature.

i've never heard of any legends here, but that doesn't mean there isn't any.
i didn't think we had enough timber for something like that in most of the state.
most of the time you just about have to set your tree in concrete to keep up with the wind here

Wow leave it to kansas to look for a bigfoot. Must have heard about a monster truck rally at kemper or something and gotten confused.

If you do a search on Sasquatch, there are website that show where sitings have been reported. There are quite a few in Kansas. A neighbor swore they saw one walking across the road about a half a mile from the house at night.

There is a documented family of cougars living around John Redmond (or so I was told by someone fro Wildlife and Parks).

I see cougars every time I go to the Plaza...oh wait, you mean actual wild cats?

Yeah the Parkville rangers put out a note on their website about the mountain lion/cougar sightings in the KC area. They said, that there are a few but they are extremely rare. I guess up north in the black hills the less dominant males are being driven south by the alpha males and they are heading into Nebraska, and some as far as Kansas and Missouri.

My old man said he saw a dead one on the high way a couple years ago and I heard on the radio about 4 years ago that one was even roaming a suburb of kansas city. It was on the news that night.

As for the bigfoot thing. I have yet to see any trucks. I'd love to talk to those nut jobs though, maybe even go out with them one night just so I could write about it.

Well, everybody should have a little fun

now and then. Just so long as the people with the sign haven't really come to believe their self appointed calling.
