Full metal jackets for my revolver

Hey guys I recently got a ruger police service six .357. I got a birthday coming and figured full metal jackets would be a cool present. Now I guess I could go either 38 sp or 357 mag. I am just wondering if there is a tried an true brand or specific one out there that you would recommend. Thanks fellows

UMC and Winchester White Box make 130 grain .38 special ammo which is fully jacketed. It's about as inexpensive commercial first-load target practice ammo as you can get. No leading, although leading isn't usually a great problem for me at .38 special velocities.

I wouldn't use the ammo for defensive purposes at all though (unless it's all I had). There are many great defensive loads available from several manufacturers; any good 3rd generation hollow point would be fine. I'm partial to the Buffalo bore 158gr SWCHP
lead round myself; they also have unicore (gold dot) hollow points and Double Tap has the same.

Good luck !
