Looks pretty good from what I can see. I have a $10 gun show scope on my 10/22, mounted in cheap rings. It's been there for about 30 years, never fogged, always on target.

Cheap?? -- Outstanding allocation of available financial resources is what I say.

Cheap is fine, depending on how you use it. I wouldn't bring it to a combat zone, but range use is great. Enjoy!

That'll work. It's not like your being deployed with it.
Sight it in and shoot the hell out of it.
First scope on my AR was a Simmons, worked fine. I replaced it with one that cost four times as much and it didn't shoot any better.

I got an Aimpoint Mini-Clone from a dist at ARFCOM and it has gotten great review's ... It is built solid and the optic's are pretty good....and it has held up to .308's, 12ga and .50 Beowulf. It is made in China but it does it's job and has held up to alot of punishment by the Distributer himself. So some knock off's will get the job done while other's will just leave you wondering what happend . I'm on a Budget and can't afford $500+ for a Name Brand Mini Red Dot.

Nothing wrong with spending what you can afford. This will allow you to get out shooting and if it's not as good as you want you can save and spend more later. Hope it works out for you. Let us know with a range report. That looks like a nice set up too.

Can you link me to this mini dot? The Aimpoint T-1 Micro doesn't seem to be made by Aimpoint, but is like the Docter optic, licensed by multiple companies. Sig Sauer has a red dot that looks conspicuously like the T-1 Micro.

Low power they are OK. I wouldn't go with anything they make in higher power. Not clear at all!

first - there is a difference between cheap and inexpensive

second - i have been running a cheap Chinese scope i picked up for $20 at a local show and i cant make a complaint about it, holds true and doesn't fog, and i can out shoot my friend with his $500 optics any day
