Smile Hi there

Hey guys. Just thought I'd say hi, sort of a semiformal introduction.

My wife and I are just getting in to shooting. We took a couple hour long NRA rifle course at the local shooting range and had a lot of fun - first time either of us ever fired guns! I've been doing a lot of reading and she comes from a military family, so we weren't totally unfamiliar, but it was a huge first step!

Anyway, we bought a 22 rifle (to use at their indoor range) and at the end of this month we're going to a local gun show to hopefully pick up a Winchester 70 - an eventual deer hunting rifle.

I'm poking around the existing threads and just checking things out, so I figured I would introduce myself.

Well I screwed that up already. I just saw the "introduce yourself" subforum. Oh well, I guess this still counts since we are still beginners.

Your a lucky guy to get the wife involved, it's taken sometime for my wife to get with the program.... You did right by starting her on small firearms... she'll be more relaxed with low recoil and then work your way up to larger calibers.. welcome...
