First Thread!

Why would anybody want a swiss rifle when there are all those nice Mosin Nagant Rifles out there also?
Just wanted to be the first to start a thread in the new forum!

BTW: THANKS CHRIS! YOU ROCK!!!

Sportsman's Guide usually has it I believe. Around $0.50 a round though.

The K-31s are good rifles, but their ammo is not the easiest thing in the world to find at your local gun store. Mostly you have to order it in bulk online, and it's not inexpensive to do that. That makes them a little too aggravating for my taste, no matter how well they shoot - and they do shoot very well.

YAY!!!!! WE SWISSER'S HAVE A REAL HOME. I have just been buying Privi for $14.25 a box just for the brass, .71 cents a round.

By the way I just wanted to mention that Chris made a H&R forum in the manufactures area!!

Well we've got a swiss category and the Charles Daly category disappeared. Apparently, someone was listening.

YES! An excellently prudent course of action, creating a Swiss Rifles thread! So, here we go.....

And we can even edit too!

Duhnam's has G11 ammo available. They want a dollar a round for it though. I bought some online from AIM a while back. They don't have any at the moment.

Aprox 50 cents a round for GP11 isn't too bad, thats what I've been finding it for at the local gunshows. Mosin rounds for 19 cents each do tend to make us spoiled when it comes to milsurp ammo. I bought my first 440 rnd tin 3 years ago for $44 , its twice that now.

I'm not even messing around with Berdan primed,I'm buying all the reloadable ammo I can afford in 7.5x55 and 7.62x54r. I've been reloading for 20 different handgun and rifles for 25 plus years, might as well add a couple more calibers!!

I'm going to the Indianapolis gun show tomorrow, I'll let you know what I find !!
