Angry My 12 yr old daughter got attacked last night.

Last night at 630pm walking home from a friends house...1 street over and 2 houses down from a Deputies house .. his car in the drive way some black guy grabed my 12 yr old daughter and told her if she screamed he would punch her.......she screamed..kicked him and ran to a house..the called 911 and me and wifee. My buddy from High School was the Police supervisor who responded..Rachel gave a good discription...we got a photo line up on tuesday..... I was so FFFFking pissed...went cruiseing the neighboorhood with my 45 looking for the dirtball.....wifee poo finaly talked my into going to work....let the police do their job...dont go to prison for shooting the wrong guy.... Rachel was scared the dirt ball would try to break in....we talked to her and after an hour after the police report thing, (after almost 1 1/2 hours doing a police report..discripption ect) she was able to go to sleep...she even joked that if the clown tried to break in that her and mom would use every gun we had on him.....
This happened on a well lite street...residantial houseing area...like I said 2 house away from a deputy's house....The cops said for now its only "Simple Battery" since he grabed her arm.......If I find him its gona be "crash test dummy" and a simple ballistic test!!!!!!!! Yes we are makeing major plans to move proble right after xmass.....daughter now getting ride to/from friends house...ordering a rape defense tape from paladin press....and a Kubaton for my 12 and 11 yr old....wish the girls could get a CCW but Im sure school will freak.
Im just so pissed off..... glad I did not post this last night Chris would have had to deleate it due to language.....:assult:

Simple battery, hell! If he tried to take her by force, it is attempted kidnapping!

Angry THE SCUM........................

i am so glad that your baby wasn't physically hurt. and thank GOD she had the presence of mind to fight back, rather than be a willing victim.

i would react the same as you 'Lips, but even if you nailed the right guy, you'd be in the slammer. hard as it is, thats the thing to do.

i noticed on one of your pictures, the house has bars. is that to keep them out or to keep you in??? if the neighborhood is that far gone you should have left years ago. another thing about barring ones house, there have been instances where people couldn't get out, and firemen couldn't gain entry in time because of security measures.

moving is tough and a strain on everyone. but its better than whats going on .

I am sorry to hear that, but glad to hear she is alright. I hope you give him all the justice he deserves.

Thank God she wasn't hurt. Tell her I commend her for her bravery. "Refuse to be a victim."

Thumbs down Time to perform a public castration

Doglips:

I'm really sorry about the attack on your daughter.

She definitely did the right thing in kicking, screaming, and fighting back. There's a much better chance of escape that way then after an abduction occurs.

Your reaction mirrors how most of us would react. Pixxed off, angry, wanting to find the perp and get revenge would seem to be normal if it happened to our daughters. (I have two daughters, too)

Hope the a-hole gets identified and sent to the slammer before he makes another attempt on someone.

Good to hear it didn't get too out of hand. Bad experience nonetheless. Use every means you can to get the creep. Just watch your back. Remember, he has more rights as a criminal than we do.

Thank God your daughter.....

.... is OK. You're wife is right don't go off half cocked and make it worse. If there is a good physical description you could put up posters in the area. Just note on the poster that a child was attacked and give a police tip line number. It may work. Otherwise save those pennies and get the hell out of Dodge ASAP. As a last resort that chipper/shredder thing sounds pretty good too.

We've been staying...hopeing the area would improve...ok whats us social workers call that deniale...its the house I grew up in...long story..parents died (mom and step dad) a week apart..inside the house (mom cancer step dad gave up liveing and just fell asleep)....house left to me and 2 sisters...bought everyone out..sisters and morage company... but yep time to leave.
Papa G. We have the bars to keep people out...bedrooms have quick release clips.....even made sure kids know how they work...we have put in heat and smoke detectors have some fire extingusiers ect...fire was a concern.

I guess for me it just made me feel powerless to protect my kids...I mean I set the house up to pretty much protect aginst all but a heavely armed swat team...cars all have road side kits...everyone knows how to use firearms....then boom 1 street over this happens....as much as I want too you realy cant lock the kids in a bubble and keep the world away from them...they need their firends..need to play have fun...

i can't remember the movie, but in one scene the mob is in a meat packing plant, disposing of a body, by throwing the victim into the hopper of a giant hamburger/ or sausage grinder. another way to go!!!

My worst fear is somebody harming my daughters. It keeps me awake some nights. The problem is you can't keep them protected without going to extremes, and so you have to take some risks.

If anything bad ever did happen to my kids, I'd make national headlines for sure with how I'd go off. I wouldn't just try and find the perps, or play vigilante, but I'd show our society just how weak and defenseless they really are, and I'd break a lot of parents hearts doing it. It would make Columbine look like a card game. I ain't saying this to brag. I hold our society (run by liberals mostly nowadays) in contempt, and my children are all that is holding me back these days from making an example out of what I view to be wholly unacceptable operating conditions. I would make it so that no one who doesn't pack heat would feel secure in their day to day lifestyle.

Some may consider my opinion rather drastic. Some may now consider me a threat. I ain't killed nobody yet. Just hope I never cross that line. It's the only thing that would make me do it, too.

Doglips, I am glad to hear she is okay. I hope the scumbag is caught soon. Don't feel that you failed in protecting her, either. Sounds to me like you did a good job of teaching her how to react to a situation like this. She's okay, and that's the important thing.

A real piece of human detritus... I'm glad your daughter is safe. That's the most important thing too. My girlfriend was assaulted last night by an ex boyfriend as a side note. Knowing who it is makes it easier for me to do something about it... There's a lot of scum out there and sometimes I think the only thing that's holding society together is guys like all of you watching out for friends and family. Keep your powder dry fellas.

Thumbs down

Lips,I have some idea of how you feel as my daughter was 12 when a masked "man" broke in on her.As some of the old gang may remember I told the story of how she ran him off with a .38 spl round by his foot, luckily she had access to a weapon.
The TV is saying that rapes are up in the Tampa Bay area and all over Florida, but are playing it down by saying it may be just better reporting but we don't know why.
According to the TV and paper the largest group is white girls between 14 and 19.
I hate to say this, but they are also saying it is the hardest crime to prosecute, all this on the air, sounds like it just might be encouraging more of that type of behavior to me!
It sounds like you all did the best you could under these deplorible conditions!
I also fear it will get worse before it gets better.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Rave, the media loves to screw up other peoples' lives as much as they can. I am surprised they don't sell "How-To" books on this stuff. When a friends' wife was raped in her parking lot last year, things got really dicey because the media told how the perp got into the secured areas without detection and demonstrated how easy it was for anyone to get in. As a result, crime has since skyrocketed in that area. The media had a full-time reporter in the area that LIVED for that kind of stuff.
As a side note, the reporter has had her house broken into on numerous occasions, and has since put her house up for sale....

As the father of four, including two girls I am a firm believer in public castration for child abusers and rapists. Put them in a helicopter and fly them out to about 150 miles from no where. Strip em, castrate em, give a pocket knife and a pack of matches. Tell them that there is a hospital in that direction (point). If they make it to the hospital their debt to society will be paid and they are free men. On the other hand if they don't made it then their debt to society is paid and they are again free men. Leave em bleeding on the ground and get back int he helicopter and leave em.

Justice served either way.

Sorry to hear that. It is unfortunate. As you see and as I said these things can happen anywhere.
Moving is hard, and where does one move to? I'm still trying to figure that out after what happened to me.
