Need information on a Parker Hale Side x Side double shotgun
I inherited a Parker Hale side by side shotgun from my father two years ago. I have taken it to many gun stores and shown it to people whom claim to know about guns. Thus far I have found no information on it. I also never knew that my father had it. I usually knew all about all of his guns and such from him telling me about them at least when he first got them. We were very close and I also went to the shooting range with him alot. Still, I didn't know he even had this gun until when I was cleaning his house out after his death.
I really would like some information on it, such as, model number, year made and value.
I don't have a camera to take pictures to attach, but I have figured out some info from what is on the gun itself.
It is a Parker Hale Side By Side Double barrel, double trigger Shotgun.
I believe it is a 28 guage.
I believe the barrels are 26 inches long.
I believe the serial number is 191488.
It does break down into three pieces.
Been told by all whom I have shown it to trying to find info on it that it is in excellent condition.
There was no special case for it. My father kept it in a soft gun case in the hidden closet at his house.
There is silver on it. Silver has designs in it.
There is also a pattern on the stock and on the butt of the stock.
Also some design on the trigger guard thing.
Has a safety switch that u slide to unlock triggers.
That is all I know about it.
