"new cz-75"

Got this & a kadet kit in a trade for a few other guns, both are new in box with paperwork. I soooo can't wait to shoot them.

Now I just need to order a holster, mag carrier & some rubber grips. Then I'll be set.

And yes that jacket and hat are made in the Czech republic also

This pistol is definitely a keeper until I can get a cz-85b with the fully ambidextrous controls, of course the kadet kit will stay with me for all time. The grip on this thing has got to be the best grip I've felt yet, held one at the gun show awhile back and the one thing I noticed was how wonderful the grip is. You can count on a range report in the near future.

Oh and I no longer have my cz 83 & 82 or my 52, sold the cz 52 and traded the 83 & 82 toward the 75 & the kadet kit. I have been refining my collection to the rifles and pistols I enjoy shooting the most.

Mmmm roses small great, although the cats love to eat them so they tend to not last long in vases especially when you have 8 cats.

I used to have a CZ-75B SA and initially loved it, despite the plastic trigger. What I do not like is the fact that they did away with the firing pin plate and went with a cheap-ass split pin retainer. Even 1911 guns that have a firing pin safety (I own a Colt without one, btw) do not use split pins. This makes sense economically but it's just so cheap.

They are good guns, however. They are accurate.

My CZ85 is one of my top 3 pistols. Remarkably accurate, feels good in your hand, and is supremely reliable. I need a Cadet kit to make it cheap to shoot. I let a coworker shoot it as his first pistol to shoot and he went and bought one. He had wanted a glock and has never looked back since.

CZ vs. Glock

I traded my metal guns (CZ, Ruger, 1911 SA "GI Model") for Glocks in 2004. Stupid, stup[id, stupid. The dumbest move I ever made. 2004-2006 was my all-polymer period and I learned a hard lesson. The only one of the three I would want back however would be the Ruger (MK II 678G) because Ruger only makes the awful-designed MK III now.
