Webley Mark IV

I just got a webley mark iv in 38/200 (38 S&W). I love the gun but I can't find ammo for it anywhere. It's all backordered. Does anybody know where to find 38 S&W at a good price.

Also, I was just curious if 9mm, in moon clips, would work in the .38 S&W like .45 acp does in the .455 webley?

Thanks

Midway is out of stock but should be restocked next week, the price is very reasonable. Here is the link: MidwayUSA - Magtech Sport Ammunition 38 S&W 146 Grain Lead Round Nose Box of 50
The 9X19 should not be shot out of the .38, the base of the .38 S&W is larger and the 9x19 is loaded to much higher pressures than the old Webley was designed to handle....Have you given much thought to reloading? Owning soem of the odder old revolvers got me into reloading years ago.

.38 S&W-a caveat

I have the Enfield revolver in 38-200 and have done some reloading. I was concerned that the bullet diameter of the .38 S&W was larger than .356"
In one successful try I used a .38 cal 140 gr. unsized and unlubed bullet from Penn Bullet that mic'd at .361. I used the liquid alox lube. This was a bit more accurate than the Magtech stuff. (Starline Brass, WSP primer, W231 Powder).
My near disaster occurred when I used a 148 gr hollow based wadcutter (Hornady) (which I thought would expand and fill the bore) with what I thought was a modest load of W231 (2.5 gr). The round felt "snappy" and I was shocked to see case head separation

It appears that I overdid it. Somewhere I went wrong with my logic. I have since not used that particular bullet for this caliber. Luckily, the revolver seems to have weathered this storm.
