Yea, where are they?

With my name, at first, some may had thought of me as a girl and I can understand that.
Every time I asked an english speaking person to call me Mandy, they simply can't 'cause they think they may offend me.
Then I've to explain to them that in english, you call Mandy only to the Amandas but in spanish, you call Mandy to the Amandas and the Armandos.
Even after the explanation and after assuring them that it's perfectly correct to call me Mandy, they usually don't do it after they notice that every friend of mine is doing so.
It's some sort of comic episode that happens to me every once in a while. lololololol

Now back to bussiness, where are they?, do anyone knows?

It was probably me - I can only keep 'em around for a night or so then they get tired of my shiite then leave. All except the ol' lady. I don't know if I did something right or wrong? Most the time I feel like I did something right, but then there are times where I really feel like I really screwed up. lol

In most of America, men with the name Armand, which is anglicanized version of Armando usually are referred to as "Manny". I've a couple of them here that I work with, and they would definitely take offense to being called "Mandy". But to each his own.

Yes BenP, you're correct and I know that about the Mannys, I think that's a cultural thing.

You know, even in spanish speaking cultures the same thing happens with other words or names, take for example the word "concha", here it means "shell" but in some southamerican country (can't remember which one), it means the feminine sexual organ.
Take for example the esquimos, I've been told that to show hospitality to a visitor, the visitor has to sleep with his wife.
I don't know if this is true but if it is, I'm glad not to be an esquimo, 'cause I'm not showing any hospitality at all. lolololol

If this is true, then I've to make some friends in the north pole and try to visit them sometime.lololol

hey Wes i got my phone when they had that bad flood up north it came floating down the bayou. i didn't know what it was at first but i figured it out .before the phone we used to talk by sending the message by pigeon or by just yelling AYEEEEE..LOL
