Bass Pro shops has a "RedHead: back pack that is XXL. I'm a BIG, 6' 8" and it fits me fine. It has gazillions of pockets to carry most anything you need, It's on sale now for about $50.00

Thanks. I looked, but couldn't figure out which you were talking about. Do you have a link?

Here's a suggestion for a backpack for larger men...

A few years ago my wife and I invested in some backpacks for our 72-hour bags and to use while on adventures in the woods...

...and we decided to go with Kelty products.

Here's the one I got, designed for bigger torsos and larger loads:

Kelty | Backpacks

My wife and I call it the black hole...

...and it lives up to that nick name nicely.

It's an amazingly durable and versatile piece of equipment...

I am 6'5 and 300 pounds and had a lot of trouble finding a pack that the shoulder straps were long enough. I tried the Molle Large assault pack and love it. Its not huge capacity wise, I think its about 2850 cubes. Good size a GHB or maybe a 72 hr bag. Lots of attachment points. Depends what you are looking for.

I too, am a big guy, and i have'nt found a pack yet either... my solution was to go to duffle bags, easy to tote around come with a shoulder strap... this works for me, maybe not for others, when you find that perfect pack let us know and take some pics so we can see...

I picked up a Blackhawk 3-day patrol pack and it's pretty comfy for a big man.

I'm 6'7" 340pds and I never really noticed bags being to small except school bags. I do like duffels slung over my back because I don't like the shoulder-strap of backpacks being on my shooting shoulder. Ya might also try large butt packs.
"size to fit 'em purt near as big as ya can get 'em"
