Talking Stocked up for Christmas

Howdy,

Picked up 100 rds of 9mm, and one case each of shotgun shells 20 & 12 ga.

Guy at counter asked me if I was going to war with the ducks or something.......

I also wrote national Ammo day on the reciept to let the bean counters wonder!

The tallies at National Ammo Day site must be off.

I can't imagine any possibility that a tad over 1200 posters report over one billion rounds/bullets having been bought, lol.

Maybe they are including the last month's purchases by the armed forces, he he he he.

Howdy,

I dunno if it would be that far off Dale. I purchased 600 rds myself. The count of respondednts to the poll was a scant over 1600. If everyone of 600 people bought 600 rounds, that would be 960,000.

The site say the number will spike occasionally as some idjit goes and posts multiple times or really inflates numbers.

Talking "Yeah, baby!"

A brick of Federal Lightnings, 400 rounds of CCI Minimags, 200 rounds of Federal Gold Medal (the pricey stuff!), and 100 rounds of Wolf 7.62X39.
Oh yeah, and two more guns for good measure. Can't wait til Saturday!

 :full:
