for the price alone you can't beat them. they are a really well made and dependable pistol. all mine are 100% reliable with any ammo I have shot in them. I carry one as my everyday carry gun. when they first came availiable, they were in like new condition. the ones I have seen shipped lately have definately been issued. they show a lot of wear on the finnish. but they are still great shooters. get one, you won't be sorry. I think they are the best deal out there.

Are they worth it you say ? Let me tell you, you will be hard pressed to find someone that don't like them.
They are probably the BEST Mil-Surp you can buy and an excellent shooter to boot !
I bought a second one and sold to a friend, I sure wished I kept it. I love mine and you will to, so get you one, and I would pay a hand pick charge to...A.H
I can't really tell you if a 1987 CZ(VZ)82 is a good gun or not.
However I can tell you my 84, 85, 86, 88, & 89s are GREAT!!!!!
They all are good shooters ( a couple rough mag releases ). They look good in the original finish, they look really good with satin nickel finish, the stardard grips are OK, Marschal grips ( Zebrawood & red Walnut ) are fantastic !
Stablebiscuit- a CZ 82 should be your first C&R purchace. It will make a great companion for your new full sized CZ 75. also a lot better to ccw than a derringer!

Ok I'm looking to get a cz82 and I can't find them for sale anywhere... at least not in the 200 dollar range. Where should I get mine from? I've been wanting to pick up one of these for a WHILE!
Saw some at Classic Arms last night while there looking. I bought my 2 from AIM Surplus.
The one I kept is an 88 or 89 model that appeared un-issued. The 2nd. one I sold my buddy appeared un-issued to.
He loves his and would'nt take a 1000 dollars for it. Wished I hadn't of sold it to him to...A.H
I checked the two places the Classic arms place doesn't have it in stock and I've had trouble with them before... also AIM doesn't have them on site but they do have a hellava deal on ak mags
