Heck, place an ad in your local paper or Craigslist...you'll likely get more than your fair share of calls...

If a farmer has a hog problem...they'll usually show you where, when, etc...most don't care HOW you take 'em...as long as YOU remember not to shoot towards their house. It's also better to work in groups...if you have a couple shooting buddies...or a kid or two...makes life easier.

Horses & 4X4 Golf carts are probably the best ways to get around a farm...VERY quiet...they don't make noise like ATV's and you can cover WAY more ground than on foot.

But if you like to bowhunt...the amount of calls for bowhunting hog-harvesters is phenominal!! When a farmer can tell his wife that no guns are being used and you don't have to keep the kids indoors...Hey!...you win!!

The only downside is that bowhunting is MUCH more difficult...and takes more time. With a rifle you can drop 'em at 50+ yards...with bowhunting it's pretty much under 50 yards for solid kill shots.

Advertise both options in your ad...but make it clear that the bowhunting option takes LONGER.

California also has some great hog hunting. They sell you as many tags as you want, and those pigs have some really impressive weights to them. They get real big feeding in all the crop fields. Bring you elk gun, because ranges can get longer and the pigs often weigh over 300 pounds.
