what i did was just to use the dowel a 120 git paper wraped around it.It does take a little wile but it should since you want it to be nice a work right.Mine was taperd so i the wraped some ellectic tape one about three and half inches from the end .were the .920 diameter near the reciever and the just went back to the straight dowel for the .750 near the muzzle.I then put a small piece of cork right at the tip of stock for a pressure point near the muzzle.
tell us how you make out
Here's a variation on the dowel. The leverage master 5000!!!!!! An elec sweep with the desired paper.
alright moneys tight being married and having the first kid, on top of being in the millitary. My fathers wife gave me a 10 22 bone stock, I have a few ideas for shaping the stock to my likeing, as well as finish. Also have decided to stick with stock barrel i received for free from friend NIB (cant say no to free gun parts, also got free synthetic stock used, and free standard wood stock used) and am working the synthetic stock into a under folding style, and a cheap tasco scope for now. budget is tight any suggestions to make this thing pop a lil bit and shoot straight. I am debating wether or not to pressure bed it or free float the barrel as well.
Not a good picture, nor a "Fine" weapon like some of your guy's beautiful plinkers. I use this for getting down and dirty with the skunks, 'coons and other varmints around the yard. It has a P-4 scope, BSA laser and a light.
Here's Mine.
Started as a stock 10/22, then went with the Houge Overmold stock and now in its current form.
