My brand new xdm 9mm

The gun club i shoot at on the indoor range say no fmj. What is another good choice of ammo to shoot, and where can i buy some online? All my local dealers are on back order..

now im a bit curious. the only other options i can think of are jacketed hollow points and cast lead. the hollow points wouldnt really be much different than the FMJ. the cast bullets im not sure about. i think you have to hand load. but could be wrong. are there any companies that do cast lead production?

Not sure about factory loads but there are lead, plated and jacketed for reloading.
No FMJ would, to me, mean JHP are okay. Ask and see.

I think they have it bass ackwards. Seems to me FMJ would be less lead problem. If the range doesn't have the proper backstop maybe it would be a problem. Maybe they are just talking about using it with rifles. The indoor range I go to uses ground up tires for it's backstop. It's about 15ft deep.

ammo

I was told to use reloads with lead tips..the problem is finding reloads right now.. Any tips on web sites that have them? the range i shoot at says no fmj on the insided range because of ricocheting.

Yup. Never heard of not allowing FMJ
