broke fireing pin

well my firing pin broke the other day while i was shooting..... i know they are brittle but has this happen to anyone esle? ive heard of them breakiing from dry firing, but have not heard of it happening when acualy fireing the gun, anyways i was just curius. i already ordered a new one from J&G

This is probably way too late but have you tried just asking CZ for a new one? I don't know how old your firearm is but as I mentioned in another thread, I told them I had just bought my rifle, noticed a deficient part, and they send a new piece within a week.

I have shot hundreds of rounds in each of mine with no broken fireing pins. I don't know of any of my shooting buddies that have 52 s that broke one either.
