Talking ultimate bug out solution

ok SHTF and total chaos reigns supreme. your in your hideout, foods running out, your crop failed, your deathly ill, the family is suffering badly. or perhaps an atomic war has left you covered in fallout, suffering radiation sickness. its really bad, hopeless.

do you continue to struggle against the odds, knowing your ever so moving backwards. or do you do the ultimate bug out. like in the old westerns, saving the last bullet for your self and family...knowing that John Wayne and the cavalry ain't coming.

touchy subject for some folks, but since we are not there yet what do you think....a slow lingering painful death, or something quick and painless.

whatc'ya think???

I would have to Bug Out in my case ... Don't have a place to grow too many crop's and got neighbor's that are just a whisper away and surrounded by over 200 home's lol plus my house is not easily defendable. I would have to bug out to one of my Fishing/Hunting/Camping spot's to get food once my stash has been depleted.

I'd fight it out. Never been much of one for giving up.

No one should have to make that decision, ever. Hopefully no one ever will have to.

so no one can imagine being in a situation so bad...so hopeless..so dire, that the lead pill is not an option???

if all hope of living, or in such pain with no relief coming i would do it.
needless suffering is not an option for me.

There are a couple situations in which I might take the "eleven cent solution" - like if I found I was going to die soon of a painful progressively debilitating illness, that would drain the family's finances to no good end.....

But in a survival situation, no. I'll go down, but not easy.

If I am going I am gonna continue the fight in the afterlife. So I had better take somebody with me from the enemy.

my faith sez no....however if i were to become so much of a burden to my family that it would hinder thier chances ....YES!!! i honestly think my God would understand....if not , lets just say.....this wouldn't be the only time my Lord would have ample oppportunity to be pissed at me. but that point is far beyond what i can imagine and my faith sez He wouldn't allow that so i don't care if it hair lips all of texas.... "i'll fight till i can't carry on"..... see you peeps on the other side (i'm thinkin .....does it piss off politicians or heathen more for some to believe in something they can't see, touch, smell, ect......or are they all the same?)

As a Christian I would not consider suicide, and would definitely not consider doing in the family. I say fight to the bitter end and have faith in God.
