p345

I'm new to the site and also new to .45 auto. I own a couple of Ruger revolvers but how does the p 345 stack up to the competition?

I purchased a P345 a few weeks back for home defense, and I have been very pleased with the gun, overall.

Very compact compared to other .45's, and has light recoil.

The gun is also tough as nails, and will digest just about any ammo on the market without a problem, whether it be +P or hollow point ammunition.

Sure, it has a few silly safety features, like the magzine disconnect, but that isn't worth worrying about in 99% of situations.

I highly recommend the pistol.

I have a P345 and a P90 I really like both of them. The P345 I have had about 3 years now. Have had no problems with it. I did my qualifying for CCW with the P345 and carry it quite often. If you get one just remember to never dry fire with the mag out.
