Over the course of the last week I've put 800 rounds through my new XD45, and it hasn't failed to load or eject once.

That could not have been cheap.

Oh yeah, where I'm at ammo is around 22 bucks for 50 blazer 230gr .45. I've been buying ammo whenever I see it. Spent at least 500 bucks in the last few weeks on ammo.

Of course it won't fail. It's a Springfield.

I have a XD-40 service and a XDm-40. The XD-40 has been great the XDm-40 has broken on me twice and is at SA now for repair.
I think I got a lemon with the XDm, everybody elses has been pretty much great.

Keep us posted as to how it turns out. This is the first time I have heard of anyone having an issue with a Springfield. I will be interested to see how they fix the problem.

Thumbs up I've Never Tried The XDM yet...

But I dearly love my XD-9 Tactical, it's a light enough firearm that carry isn't a problem, and I love how it feels in my hand. It's a sweet shooter, I have yet to have a jam or FTF or FTE with it, no matter what ammo I feed it. A damn good gun for a fair price. I got mine last October for just over $350.00.

Totally agree. My first gun ever was an SA 1911 Milspec, serial dates it to 2001. I have had it for 8 years, and will have it for many more, that I promise. It is one of the most accurate 1911 pistols I have fired. I would take it anywhere and rely on it in dire needs.
