Concealed Carry Application Question

I am getting ready to apply for my CCPermit and live in Florida. I just had a quick question and sorry if this is the wrong place but I wasn't sure where to post it.

I live in Florida but have a child support warrant in Wisconsin (due to arrears of not knowing I had a kid until he was 2). This warrant IS NOT seen by other states, and is just a bench warrant, but I think they do a FEDERAL background check for CCL in Florida. Will that warrant disqualify me? In Florida after paying for fingerprints and photo and everything a CCL runs about $150. This is the only thing that I know of that would disqualify me (clean driving and criminal record) but I just wanted to check on it before I spent all that money to be denied.

If you have not been arrested and have fingerprints in the FBI records, then all should be okay. I am no lawyer, so don't take my word for it, but the local problems are not to be confused with State and Federal problems, which seem to be where hangups occur.

I was one of the first to get the license, when it was just a piece of folded paper,no picture, now nicely laminated.
In most cases it overrides any local laws,Florida has some of the best weapons laws in the world, including the lack of some,(like owning and carrying switchblades.)
It is not hard to get one,and is a lot cheaper than it used to be.
Just make the call and you will receive a packet with all info.

the warrant will not disqualify you. you have not been found guilty of a felony or a misdimeanor involving violence or drugs.
(important to note that even a misdeimeanor will disqualify oyu if it was of a violent or sexual type.)

ill quote you some of the laws if you like or i can give you links to the website that has all the info. its really dry reading in some places though so have some caffiene
