So are you wanting a pistol grip for the trigger or for the forearm like an M4 with the forearm grip? I have never seen a forearm grip on a shotgun.

The model 500 mossbergs that I have seen all have a threaded hole in the back of the receiver to accept a stock, a pistol grip, or a pistol grip/stock. Could you just get the shotgun with the regular stock and buy whatever type of pistol grip thing you wanted and just mount that? I am confused on what you want to do with the forend.

Hey cremley, look in the thread named "500 furniture on a 535?" if ya want to see double pistol grips on a shottie.

im not gonna judge what any man does to his gun but i think you sghould REALLY think about all aspects of this setup other than it looking cool. aiming, mobility, storing, ect will all be effected.

Purchase a 7 5/8" action slide ( about 39.00 ) and the nut ( about 12.00 ) Then disassemble the gun and remove the forearm with the riveted grip on them. Put on the action slide and your new foregrip and put the nut on. About a 5 min. job. There is a YouTube video on how to take apart a Mossberg 500 that gives you a step by step in taking it apart. Just keep a eye on the parts as they come out.
