Anyone know anything about this 2008 Taurus .357 magnum/ .38 14 shot rifle.
Model # C38SSR, its a pump? Its called "The Thunderbolt"
Well i was just looking at it and it looks like a fine rifle but i don't understand why The caliber .357/.38 seems to me the caliber could be a little more fined tuned than what it is. Iffin any one hears of anything else or knows more than me I sure would appreciate the knowledge...
Great information guys
Thats what i am wanting to hear the accuracy lets say within 300 yards and the knock down at that range. Around here the average long shot on deer is 300 yards not much more. The things is i know there is a better deer rifle but this one for target practice and also maybe deer hunting..I own a Remington 30.06 and it works just fine on the deer.
I still need to dig further into this and i will make the excuse that time was not available just yet, however i don't expect any one to do my homework...LOL but again i thank each and every one that knows something and give some input, you fellas are great.....Earl

Yep Mike thats the one on the first picture. The 45 would be interesting to me. Thanks for
posting a picture of it. I just have a brochure from Taurus and there is not very much info
on this rifle. They did not include the price. I have been working on that garage and have been recovering all week end. Tommy fell threw the roof Friday, had ta grab him by his tool belt so he didn't make a pancake out of himself...LOL Both of us our tired...He managed to only drop the circular saw as it was running and it cut the cord in two. We called it quits fer the weekend....
I am with you on the long barrel.....I also am trying to spend some time looking at the Henrys but their costs are around $1,999..A little too much money for this old guy.
So this one still has my attention at about $813.00 as Mike has posted in his find.
We spent today catching up on some of Tommy's jobs that he has not got paid from yet..
Painting five rooms and three closets, Then heading over to another house to finish oak trim work that has been neglected since December..We finished both..
Yes, if i get some time tonight i will try to get more information..
Good talking to ya..........Earl
I've been looking at AK zombie killers far too much.
I saw this picture, and immediately imagined the gun (the short barreled model) with an M4-style stock, vertical handled synthetic pump grip, ghost ring sights (or red dot), and a surpressor on the muzzle...all finished in a cool Duracoat camo scheme.
Is this wrong?
Should I list "ammo hoarding" as one of my hobbies?
