Anybody home?

I guess everybody spent all there money on Mosins and Ammo and now they lost there internet service. Sure is quiet.

Maybe everybody is typed out?

Maybe everybody's wife gave them a time out.

Maybe I lost my mind?

Oh well I guess I will go to my crib and get some sleep, ah I mean my bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just getting on after a long day of work, and a little ride to a buddy's place after. Trying to figure out how cases get dented in another post. Wondering if I will have enough money saved by the end of the month to hopefully pick up an American contract M91 or a Finn M91. It will have to be one or the other. Which would you guys recommend? Probably looking about $300, and in nice shape.

Nope I'm still here though I don't have much to contribute. I did handle my Mosin today while sitting here at Gun and Game and talking to SeabeeScotty on the phone.

Well this is a WTF post too.....

http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/mos...check-pic.html

I can't find anything on this. No ideas either. Based on the description without pics it was hard, now its even harder with pics lol... Ken needs to find the post and weigh in on the subject. A very interesting find, indeed.

I have gotten very small dents by having too much case lube on my brass when reloading, has his bore been checked that there isn't any thing in it at all?

Good question, on the British Lee enfields it was common to find them on the right hand side of the stock but I haven't a clue about the Ishys'. I'm sure that "Alan de Enfield" will know.

Hi, Im home, but Im just feeling a little bla.,,Not sure what the problem is,just cant seem to have any good gun thoughts lately. I still like guns, and the Mosin Nagant is still my fave,, but deep within the bowels of my heart there just seems to be a void,,,kinda a deep yawning casm.I just cant explain it , maybe Ill snap outof it and start participating in the Mosin threads again, and one things for sure , some of the most entertaining times Ive had are reading things like Pslman's Aka Air Mosin's mosnitus thread' or how to fluff a mosin bear how to open a can of ammo.. But for now, I guess Ill just try and do some soul searching and figure out why I have this ,,,, blahhh feeling . Take it easy everybody, and see ya later.

Sounds like a Mosinitis relapse. Only cure is to buy a new Mosin!

Im home! My boy and I had a great day at the range yesterday. We were
there for about 4 hours and sighted in and tested 5 rifles ( maybe 4 1/2 one was a pellet rifle ) I tested a scout mount I'm working on, on a 91/30,M44, and M39. The mount worked super on the 91/30 and the M44,
but due to the completely different rear sight on the Finn its going to take a little more developement before I have one that will work on a M39.
We met several other milsurp collectors shooting their Mosins while we were there, one guy had a 91/30 sniper repo, looked real nice.
