I have 2, a 50' fiberglass freezer trawler that I use for off shore fishing and hauling cargo to the Bahamas and a 21' open skiff that I use to pull my inshore lobster and crab traps. I tried to post pics but this reply thing doesn't have the "manage attachments" thing to click on

that's one of the very few things i miss up there. we fished Solomans Island and north to Chesapeake Beach and on over to the Choptank river on the other side. luv that striper fishing. never fished for strippers but they might have been fun to have on the boat.

Thumbs up

Blaster...when you reply...look far down below on your page and you'll see the "Manage" thing you apparently missed. It will allow you to go to your picture files if you want so you can show us your stuff.

I have a late 70's 14 ft v-hull. It is pretty good shape and has 3 bench seats and the front and back have mounted swivel seats. I have a 1994 5 horse power Johson motor, Minkota transom trolling motor and a hummerbird fishfinder mounted in the rear. yet to be installed is a bow mounted foot controled Minkota trolling motor and a 2nd fishfinder with the transducer mounted to that trolling motor. I have considered installing a livewell in the middle bench seat but a floating fish basket seems to do the trick.

This boat is much better than my first boat which was just as long but much narrower making it very unstable and not good for rough water. This boat is nice and wide and I just got back from a fishing trip over the weekend. I was on a 600 acre lake when a front moved though bringing 30 mph winds and white caps on the water. driving the boat into the waves, with the waves and across the waves I felt confident that all was well, I really kind of enjoyed it a little.

when i was in NC I had a 19' mako. Great intercoastal and a little offshore. but now that I live in NJ I sold the mako and bought a little bass hunter pontoon. Smaller, no trailer, cost nothing to operate, just as fun.
