Another good thing about getting one is that most states use atleast part of the money for, restocking and breeding programs. They also maintain and build habitat in area waters.

I don't know about where yall live but you better have a fishing licence when you have a fishing pole in your hand and your near water in Arkansas.

When my son was a little tike his Mom and I took him fishing as well as had a picnic.
I had a licence my son was well below age.
My wife did'nt have a licence so she sat at the picnic table and watched.
While we were packing to leave two Game Wardens pulled up in there boat and ask me for my licence and I showed them.
I reached out to hand my son's fish pole to my wife to put in the truck and the Game Wardens both went to exclaiming Mame don't touch that pole !!!!!!!!!!
I said whats the problem were leaveing !
They went on to say if she took the fishisg pole they would have to write her a ticket ! LOL
Being the nice sweet person I am I smiled and said Thank You ! But under my breath I said something else...A.H

Wow! That is interesting Troy. I may have to think about borrowing a big saltwater rod from my buddy for our trip to Encinitas in July!

But the pole wasn't in the water right? I don't understand I guess... They were saying that you aren't even allowed to TOUCH a pole ever if you don't have a license? Color me confused...

In Virginia, if you are old enough to have a driver's license, you are old enough to have to have a fishing license. That includes salt water. On fishing piers, if they're privately owned, the owner of the pier has a site license, so you don't need a saltwater license to fish from them. However, you do have to pay the owner of the pier to fish from them. I believe it is the same in Maryland.

Then theres the if you aren't within 25 paces or feet or whatever they can fine you.

Nope the pole wasn't in the water and there was know bait on the hook.
So I guess assumption exceeds fact's when it come's to game and fish laws in Arkansas.

Here's a Pisser if you get caught in the woods with a centerfire rifle they'll assume your poaching when Big game season's are closed. Yet It's permisable to go target shooting year round. Figure that.

During Squirrel season don't be caught carrying buck shot or Slugs. All this to me is a violation of our constitutional right's.

About the Buckshot. I do carry 3 or 4 rounds for safty purpose's even though I am a law abideing citicen per say...A.H

Only place i know of is in Texas, In the state of Texas if you are fishing on a STATE PARK you can fish without a licence as long as you are on STATE PARK PROPERTY!!! if you step off just by 1 foot, you HAVE to have it. I learned this when I was in texas cause the the park i went to had a sign that said this. But I dont know of any other place like this.
