Toll roads are a means to tax the middle class

while letting the rich who own businesses take this off as a tax deduction at the end of the year.

As a Texan, I so want Gov. Perry to go down to defeat in the next election.

If the Legislators won't vote the will of their constituents, start recall petitions and have them removed.

From what I know, the foriegn country gets the rights and the pay from it but the state still must pay for maintainence because the other countries usually don't do it.

They may also get our gas taxes too. This is the worst thing Perry has done, while talking about our sovereignty at the same time.

Nothing different about this and California selling landmarks. Who do you think will just end up buying those if and or when they put them on the market?

I saw where they're considering selling the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Orange County Fairgrounds and a few other landmarks.

They all seem to be scrambling and not thinking before they leap.

After he restored the castle law doctrine, my opinion has been rapidly falling of him. He's gone nuts.

Kay is quitting Congress to run against him. I just hope we get a pro-second replacement.

I'd vote for Hutchison if I lived in TX.

Rick Perry flip flops between selling out to the NAFTA/NWO/UN thugs and trying to appease Texans. My brother and several friends live there (Houston and Dallas) and none of them like him. He's been around too long, time for him to go.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike...

has been taken over by some firm from Mexico. They are paying so much per mile for the maintenance, and profiting from the tolls, concessions, and gasoline. While I detest the concept and the practice, this firm is doing better than our state legislators even thought of doing. I'm not for doing business this way, but just another perspective to the issue.
