A Bulletin, for Windwalker!

Folks, almost a year ago, I got a call from Bro Bob, about a project. I had talked to our favorite member about a rifle, and shortly after, he called and informed me that he could no longer afford it, because his daughter was ill. Bob called, and we talked about setting up a special account, to get Windwalker his rifle. It took awhile, but we got there.
I ordered the rifle, and was told it would be here, for the weekend BBQ. It didn't make it in time, but will be here tomorrow. Sunday morning, after breakfast, we were sitting on the front porch, visiting with one another. I took CGO off to one side, and told her I needed to give Windwalker a copy of my license, so he could set up delivery. We walked back to the group, and I apologized to my friend, and explained why. He looked at me, and I could see the tears welling. CGO walked over and put her arm around his neck, and told him just how much he means to all of us. Windwalker smiled at all of us, and told us that only folks who love and care about a person would do something like this. There wasn't a dry eye on the porch!
After the emotions eased off, I gave him a copy of my license, and told him to take it to his local dealer, and have him contact me, so I can get the rifle sent out to him. Windwalker asked me to thank everyone, from his heart, for this gesture of love and caring, for a fellow member, and friend. So, from Windwalker, thank you all so much, for giving him a happy time to remember!
And Brother Bob, and Miz Wanda, thank you both for giving me the opportunity to do something so nice, that my eyes are tearing up again. I am so grateful to have gotten to know all my friends, here at G&G. This is ONE special buncha folks here, and I'm proud to be considered a friend. May you all be blessed with happiness, for the good you have done.

Chris, my personal thanks to you, for providing such a great place, to meet great people!

Windwalker, God Bless, and know that you all are in our prayers!

For all who went the extra mile, my thanks to you all, you helped put a smile on Windwalker's face!

I'll post pics of the rifle, when it gets here, and ship it on to it's new owner!

Some of the members who contributed didn't want their names used.It was not that important to them.So if any of you who gave money want to put your name on here go ahead...

Windwalker is just as calm and caring in person as he is on G&G.I don't think he stopped smiling the whole time he was at our house for the Okie Weekend. He keep telling everyone how much fun he was having just to be able to be with us all.

SwedeSteve, it was a strange feeling to meet them after talking to them on G&G.It's funny but some of the members mannerisms are like the way they type on G&G. I enjoyed myself so much and can't wait till next year.

It sure would be lonely around here, to me if Windwalker ever quit. I read all his post and you can't help love this man.
I wished we were next door neighbors...Mike

I was glad Windwalker was left handed and got to shoot my gun.
