My nephew is an amateur golfer. He needs a job on the golf course to earn as well as to support his passion for the game. Even if he is unable to make it big as a successful player at least he will have a career related to golf, something he is very passionate about. Where can he get leads for such a job?
This is a tough go as industry reports state fewer
people are playing golf. This may or may not pick up after the recession.
It is a crowded field at present with shrinking opportunities.
For a livelihood in golf it might be a good idea to expand into an area that includes golf such as country club management or perhaps obtaining the right degree/teacher's license to teach golf in public schools.
I think it’s a very good idea! He can support himself with a job on the golf course and continue playing and learning the finer tricks of the game. The golf industry is very lucrative and I am sure he will find something to suit his needs. You can refer to the site Golf Help Wanted for more help.
I think this is a spambot testing the limitations we might have on our board. I say trash the thread and ban the member. Nobody can be this dumb to post a golf question in a hunting sub-forum.
My money is on he will come back with offers on how to get a job in the industry that his son found out about and how we can all sign up as well to his scam.
