A customer brought the gun in with the bolt stuck fast and I failed to ask him how it got that way.
I'm sure there must be a trick I'm overlooking.
I've got the action removed from the bbl and the trigger remover from the receiver and I've tried everything I know to do short of removing the barrel which I doubt will accomplish anything.
Did they just Mount a scope to It ??? If they used too long of screws thru the reciever with the bolt in place , that will lock up a bolt tight....
Otherwise , unknown reason why the bolt would lock up...

Possibly an excessive powder charge if the owner has been reloading I know my bolt gets a bit sticky on the bolt lift if I let my powder charges get a bit too high
Rubber mallet? I would be worried if it wasn't my gun though. I would try a cleaner/degreaser to see if you can get it that way. There isn't something stupid with the safety is there? Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Possibly try to lock the action in a padded vise , and take a RAWHIDE or plastic mallet and tap the end of the bolt towards the barrel while lifting the bolt handle with hand pressure. I would spray some light oil lube around the front of the bolt and in the gas vent hole in the receiver before i tried this...
