Nasa: Sun warms earth

Nasa reports that the earth is warmed by the sun and man has nothing to do with it.This was on Fox news but I can't find anything on the net about it.(I never can find anything) I wonder if Algore is going to give any of his riches back and apoligize for lying. (I still question whether the moose in Norway are real culprits) ,,,sam.

Yes the sun does warm the earth but its more copmplex than that on a metoerological scale. Ocean currents, volcanism, continental placements, the amount of continental land mass above sea level versus the amount of continental landmass below sea level, and the amount of vegetation are ALL factors including the significant or insignificant role we play in it.

Global Warming IS real, Global cooling IS real. Man is just one cog on the wheel.

I certainly believe you are telling the truth about

seeing this report. I cannot seem to find it. Perhaps they ran it as a one time only deal?

If anyone finds out more about the report please post.

If you dig a hole deep enough into the earth you will notice heat increasing as you move toward the center of the earth. Mining operations that are really not all that deep compared to the diameter of the planet have to deal with excessive heat affecting miners and equipment. The South African diamond mines are an excellent example. This is neither solar heating nor is it man man heating of the planet.

yes, i believe man probably does have some effect on global warming, but, I remember several years ago they discovered the polar regions on Mars were receding as compared to much older photos. that was quickly forgotten about and got very little press since they could not figure how to blame us for it. I think it is more a natural cycle than anything we have done.

Lightbulb

From what I have gathered, ocean currents change to keep us balanced, but it is a slow process.
I don't believe we are going to have any big problems, except for the unscrupulous bastids that are going to make huge profits from the warming hysteria,as the war on terror is starting to settle down the warming fever will take over.
Watch the new hybrid car commercials, they are a hoot, gonna get a lot of folks separated from their money before it's over.

NO WAY!

You mean the sun warms our planet?

Let me get this straight, when the sun is projecting more radiation, we warm? And when that radiation decreases, we cool?

Who would have thought?

And, even more, it's almost like something or someone put that sun at just the right distance to provide us the heat we need to survive, but not too much. Crazy thinkin!

(that's a whole lot of sarcasm, just in case someone didn't pick it up)

Another crazy conspiracy theory!!!

It just happened to work out that way because in the beginning there was nothing...which exploded.

You mean to tell me that the huge nuclear fusion engine situated 1 astronomical unit away from the planet is warming the planet and not the exhaust from my car? how can this be?

Oh wait that would explain the fact that the planet has been warmer than today in several periods in history without the help of human intervention? But wait, Al Gore the inverter of the internet said that it was all because of my SUV.

I am so confused, Next your going to tell me that plants actually remove CO2 from the air.

I bet you people actually believe that assault weapons are not roaming our streets kill innocent people on every street corner.........

Stop it before my brain melts

Actually the Sun is still in a calm sunspot free pattern. I'd get a nice Camo jacket rather and some sunscreen. It is good for communications, and doesn't heat the earth as much with flares.
Didn't we learn in biology class that carbon dioxide is plant food, don't they use that to make oxygen? Some one is trying to sell a purple pig. The company that will collect the carbon tax? Al Gore is invested there. So are alot of other interesting names. Pass a law start a huge business.

There are more factors that just the sun. Distance from the sun, and specifications of atmosphere. For example, Venus is like 100 times hotter than earth, not by the fact it is closer to the Sun than Earth is, but more of the fact Venus's atmosphere is so thick it keeps the heat inside the planet.

In fact, we know so little of how the Universe actually works I would be one that would say what we little we know really doesn't prove anything.

Let me get this straight, greenhouse gases caused an extremely thick atmosphere on another planet, causing it to trap more heat than that of the Earth?

Hmmmm...there must be a crapload of SUVs on Venus.

It couldn't possibly be naturally occurring. Al Gore told me so.
