The pictures on the Cimarron and Taylor's websites are rather small and I'm thinking about getting one of these, but I really would like to get a better look at them. So if any of you have them and have taken groovy, awesome, up-close, cool angle pictures of them, I would appreciate seeing them. Thank's in advance!

I own a Cimmaron Richards conversion in .38 Spl.
It is a well made handgun styled after the 1860 Army and quite accurate.
Its' functioning is stiff and positive but if I shot it more I'm sure it would loosen up some.
I'll post a picture as soon as I drag my camera out and take a couple...lol
I thought I had photos on my computer but must have erased them.

It's an attractive enough revolver. I'm guessing from the round barrel that it was converted from an 1860 Army revolver. I used to have a standard black powder model (front stuffer). The finish on your gun is rather nice. You say it's a bit stiff? That isn't entirely surprising to me as the 1860 Army (I had the Pietta version) I had was also slightly stiff. I'll bet a gunsmith could slick up that action for you. I really like that they've given it a proper loading gate, they did a very nice job of that. Thank you very much for posting your photos.

This one is, according to the papers, based on an 1861.
This is a Cimmaron but was made by Uberti.
I had an 1851 Navy .36 front loader and liked it real well but it just seemed to much trouble to reload it...this was back in...er...a while ago. LOL
