I'm hoping to despite no money and without my credit card....
But the wife and checkbook will be with me!
Maybe a little will get me something!
Or maybeI'll sell a 440 tin of 7.62x54r ammo for cash.

I'm going up on Sunday. We have a "last kid out of college" gathering here Saturday, and the wife is heading to the Horseshoe for the ceremony on Sunday, leaving me to go to the gunshow. I figure the Shoe will have a few more people than the Medina show, but probably not by much.
What day are you guys going?

Well, I got there shortly after 9 on Sunday and was amazed that there was no line to get in. There was enough room to move around easily inside all day long.
Prices were high, both walking the aisle and on the table. There was lots of ammo if you think bullets are from the Lone Ranger - made of silver for you younger guys. There were primers for $60 per thousand. The dealer were complaining that there were no people and no one was buying much. I was happy that the place wasn't packed out and found some decent deals since I had time to actually look things over and talk to the vendors without feeling pushed along by the crowd.
I scored 3500 old large rifle primers AND 1000 older large pistol primers, $100 for all 4500 primers or just over 2 cents each. I thought that was my buy of the day, considering the other guys wanting 6 cents or more per primer. I also got a nice RRA trigger for my AR for $85. They had some guns on the table with that trigger in them and it's pretty nice. It's a 2 stage, but the single stage is very crisp, light (4.5 lb) and consistent. They let me dry fire as much as I wanted. I also picked up 500 pulled 55grain .223 bullets for $28, again the cheapest guy in the show. Others were wanting 35 or 40 for the same thing. They may give me the occasional flyer, but it'll make great practice ammo.
I'm looking forward to the Mansfield show next weekend now.

There is a thread on here about it. The guy who started the thread is connected to the organizers, so you could PM him for directions. It only costs $4 to get in, very little non-gun stuff, if any, and that's going to be knives and such.
The GM plant there is going to close, the community is losing 800 factory jobs and all the associated trickle down economic impact, so I don't know what to expect.

I've got a bother, both parents, other relatives, and the in-laws in Mansfield so I'm kept up on the areas events. Shame.
Now I hear the other brothers are planning a work day to do some needed stuff on the farm (no animals/all diverted acres) so I might not be going to that gun show either! Maybe Berea....
