This first pic was the first time shooting my M4 (2nd & 3rd photos) at 100 yards with iron sites. Started out low and got closer to the center as I neared the end of the mag. Not too bad, I guess.

The M4 is a CMMG upper assembly with a CAA Carry Handle, CAA forward verticle grip. It has a CAA 6-Posi. buttstock with a CAA mag holder. The lower is a Bushmaster receiver with a Bushmaster trigger kit and a CAA ergo Grip.

The bigger one (4th & 5th photos) is a Bushmaster 24" bbl Varminter rifle, topped with a Barska SWAT 10-40x50mm scope and finished off with a Harris 9"-13" adj. Bipod up front. That is my dime-shooter at 300 yards right there.

So now I have one AR for each day of the week. The newest ones are The S&W M&P 15 and the Spikes Tactical.

I switched the S&W to a CMMG piston upper. Added a Magpul BUIS, Midwest Rail, Tactical light and Trijicon TA01 scope.

The Spike ...tactical is now my Home Defense rifle, one of the things I got in is a scope riser so the Trijicon TX30 sits higher inline with the BUIS. This rifle is also equipped with a tactight-laser and digital camera.

Update on the Magpul BUIS: Looks like I am removing them for a MI BUIS instead. Reasons the rear sight doesn't allow the ACOG to fit properly without removing some plastic from the front of the sight base. The front sight is the new design were the sight post is locked into place by an expander pin (Fail). I noticed also that when the sights are folded down, it lays over the gas vents of the piston system. Maybe asking a little too much from that plastic.

The front sights on ARs always drove me nuts. And everyone was telling me you can't see the front sight through a scope. Um, no, I can. And with a red dot, I find the front sight distracting. I got a riser from someone local, and put a scope on my carbine 6.8 rifle, and I can see over the front sight now. I just wish I had the money to put one on my 5.56 carbine. I really need a job.

Now that I got my new camera I thought I would take a better picture of my Rock River.

Thanks, I'm pretty partial to it. I put the TLR-1 from my Glock on the rifle just to see if I liked it or not, but I'm gonna have to get a different light dedicated to my rifle. When I need my rifle, chances are, I won't have time to switch the light from one to the other. I just haven't decided which light I want for the rifle.

I planned on waiting for the Titan Defense AR, but I got a good deal on another POF.

I also figured out a new mount for my digital camera on my SW M&P15, now i can move it to any rifle with a tactical rail.

Figured it was about time to add mine seeing as how I've had it since June-July.

Bushmaster XM15-E2S. Standard Magpul pistol grip, Magpul BUIS, and PMag. And the red dot is a Primary Arms. Excellent little red dot and very high value. Cheapo red dot mount with a cheapo Colman flashlight. Couldn't afford the best, but this does me very well.

I've read a lot of good things about those primary arms red dots, and really enjoy the "micro dot" I have from them. I've been thinking about picking one of them up. Thanks for the post!

For $100, you can't beat it! Have 4 different sight pictures to boot! I love the light settings. I can't see it clearly in broad daylight on the 2nd-3rd dimmest setting of 8.

i guess the rule about not carrying an M16 by the "carrying handle" didnt come around until later.
