The build with the Vltor Casv and the eo tech, last time I went shooting I was nailing a target at 240 yards consistently. I got another Millet DMS to replace the Eo Tech though because I think I can get that rifle really accurate. I added a Vltor MUR upper too, I'll post pics when it is done in couple of weeks or so.

guess I'll post pics of mine...
LRB Lower, DPMS parts kit, Double-Star upper, MI flip up site, TASCO red/green dot from wally world. I know what you're thinkin, but it's a decent site, and i have the peepers for backup. Also pictured is my CZ .40-B...best damn handgun I ever bought. Can't understand why some of you guys put rails wherever you can fit em, then hang all sorts of dumb crap off your gun, makes it too heavy...remember, if something doesn't improve the function of your rifle for what you have in mind, it's not tactical, it's dead weight.

... the CAR-15 was just finished a few days ago now.
... 11/20/2009, the rifle version is finished, pictures attached ~

I just have a stock Bushmaster. But I dont have any closeups of it. So for now there it is next to the Tommy gun. It sure is incredible seeing all of your custom jobs on here. You fellows sure have put a lot of time and effort into your AR's. Always great to see pics of them .
I did find this one with a rifle grenade on it.

As our signature says, Let's light (pull) that fuse (pin) and see what happens!
Captain, the offer stills stands. I'd be happy to be adopted by you.

I have been thinking about the TA33 as well, but they are pricey. Have you tried the Emod? IMO, best stock on the market. I'll tell you, I love the Vltor MUR upper, worth every penny, it makes the rifle complete.

Beer Forever, is that a Millet DMS-1 scope on there? How do you like yours? I just tested mine today. I'm not happy with the scope mount on mine, but it worked pretty well at the range today.

Jim | I like my Millet a lot. For any good scope, the mount is just as important as the optic itself. I got a GG&G for a good price, but LaRue, ADM, Bobro, and GG&G are all good mounts. It is hard to spend $200 on a mount for a $200 optic, but if you want a good stable set up that holds zero reliably that wont move and endanger your life there is no alternative. There are cheaper mounts our there, but I would sooner throw them away then put them on my rifle.
Plus, you can take them off, put something else on or go with irons, then put your optic back on and still be on target. Get a quality mount and don't look back. Make sure to put some red locktite on every screw to ensure that it is not going to work lose and you'll be good to go.
I got great results from 50-300 yards with this scope and rifle. Now that it is zeroed, I am ready for action. I am going to take this with me to Afghanistan as a back up for my Acog just in case.
