New scout mount on eBay

I was checking out the Mosin stuff on eBay and come across this new scout scope mount.
New Mosin Nagant See-Through Scout Scope Mount - eBay (item 200351542946 end time Jun-17-09 2018 PDT)
It looks just like the one I make,as a matter of fact it is the one I make.
(Shameless promotion)
In case no one caught my other shameless promotion in the scout scope thread.

Soo...how does that lock in place? I can't see any set screws. Also, how well does it hold zero?

jemeck, you have GOT to put up the specs on that new mount! Also the specs on the scope.Don't forget the price. I want to put a scout scope on Mulan and those aluminum Picatinny rail scope mounts don't impress me.

If you want to, please PM me with the info.

Jeff,

One set screw in front and two set screws on the other side of a pin? Classy triangle for stability?

Congrats on your next smart product.

Kortik is right. Its held in place with set screws, along with the factory rear sight leaf pin. 1 set screw in front of the sight pin and 1 screw 2/3 of the way back from that, and a very small set screw to lock the rear set screw. The mount base can pivot on the sight pin. For elevation adjustment ,you just raise or lower the set screws accordingly. The base is also recessed in the sight leaf spring channel for better latteral stability.
This keeps the mount from walking around on the set screws, which is a common problem with the "flee-bay mount". The peep-sight is designed for shooting 50-100 yards, and for further shots just raise your head a little and use your scope. All in all I'm happy with how the mount turned out
and I am working on a simular mount for the M39.

Well, I was only 50% correct, I thought you've put two back screws on left and right from the center, so that all three screws form a triangle crossed in a middle by the pin. You got talent, man...

Also, there are set screws available (look in McMaster Carr) with nylon patch to prevent loosening. May be an alternative to the locking set screw?

Good looking mount. A friend gave me a Fleabay mount
and I've not tried it yet. If he gave it to me, then it must be junk.

Very clever setup jmeck but I still want the the mount you make for a conventional scope and I will have one...as soon as the funds allow.
