They knew the risk before climbing. But to loose two men who were willing to give of their time to save others is a sad day. Thoughts and prayers to the families.
It didnt say but dont they loose a few each year up there? I know they have a few rescues per year.
Embarrising side note: I lived in North Pole for 3 years and never made it down there. Damn ex -wife.
