There are hogs in central NC, I know of several guys that has hunted them in Anson county and up near Siler City. There are several places in Columbus co. you can go. The gameland in Columbus co has hogs that you can hunt during deer season if you want. In Anson co heard that they are on the gamelands at the Pee Dee river.

Hogs are a problem here, no limit on them, and they can be hunted year round as long as the hunter has a valid hunting license.

I have bagged a great number of them over the past few years.
