In case you can't tell from the title, I thought it would be neat to share some pictures of our gardens. We could share ideas or maybe come up with new things to try in our own gardens.
This is our "big" garden. Not reallly big, but it's the biggest one we have. It has tomatoes, (Roma, Rutgers, Sweet 100's, Mr. Stripeys, and some type of chocolate tomatoes), peppers (anaheims, jalapenos, different colored bells, sweet dulce, pimento, and paprika), okra, green beans, and onions.
This is our raised bed. It gets the early stuff, lettuce, radished and carrots. Then we plant green beans and cucumbers after the early stuff thins out. I also stuck a couple of pepper plants in this year.
This is the herb bed. It has onions, rosemary, cilantro, basil, sage, thyme, parsley, chives, dill, and a couple more pepper plants in it.
We also have a few pots on the porch: a tomato, pimento, bay, mint, and chamomile. I didn't have room for my vines at the house, so down on the big farm I planted zucchini, yellow squash, watermelon, and canteloupe.
Please don't pay any attention to the weeds. I haven't had any time to pull weeds this week and they are out of control.

I gotta get the camera from the missus and get some photos on here of my gardens too! I will get some pics of my indoor grow too... I have a MASSIVE bell pepper plant the likes I have never seen grown in the dirt, only problem is that its blooming like mad and I have to pollinate the flowers with a model car paintbrush since I dont have buzzing bees and bugs to do the work inside for me!

Sure isn't. I just came across a packet of Japanese cucumbers that I forgot I ordered. I'm gonna stick them in the ground this weekend. I think okra would do well right now too.

I still have to put in another round of various squashes, cucumbers, last round of corn, sunflowers and whatever strikes me!
Its not too late to get some beans in either. Get a tomato plant and some pepper plants at your farmers market and put them in... they are marking them down and you should still get em' to produce.
I ALWAYS do a second round of lettuce, spinach and radishes late summer.
best of luck get em in... they will grow!

I attached some pics of my garden. Will put some more in too. Much of my garden got washed out with all the rain, heat and rabbits and I have/am replanting lots of it! LOL

The field corn as you can see is doing ok... however the sweet corn in my pics is pathetic! The long row of beans should set us up just fine for this season + have beans to give away!
The trellis in the middle of the zuchini patch is growing sweat peas, but havent got up past the monster zukes yet.
The two liters hanging under the deck are growing cherry tomatoes and early girls.

Some different views of the garden area. Will get more pics as the zinnia and sunflowers come up and make everything look pretty nice back there + will get shot when rest of weeds and second rounds of everything start growing in!

My garden is 60 ft. square this year. Picture in your mind it being broke up and with rows in it. There's not a weed to be found in It and It's very clean.
jtuck. That's impressive. I especially like the herb plot. I have to grow most of mine in pots. This darn sand around here doesn't grow things well so the raised bed is filled with "forced" veggies. I usually dry a lot of herbs for the off season and powder them in a mortar and pestal just before use. Not as good as fresh, but a heck of a lot tastier than out of a can or jar!
Its not too late to put in some crops AH! however just running the tiller over an empty plot will keep weeds at bay pretty easy LOL
I got extra plants still in pots on the back porch... come on by and pick em' up, and while your here we will go up on the deck and shoot us some coyotes!

Cross Hair. Sweet looking plot. I hope the replanting goes well. My brother's doing one of those upside down tomato things this year too. It looks like it's going to be a good producer. I might have to try that myself next year.
Just moved in this spring, so I was a bit preoccupied. I did manage a row of maters and a pepper plant. I will go hog wild next year, expand the garden, go in on a tiller with my dad and brother, and get a cultivator attachment for the weed eater.
I want a small cultivator too! My tiller tines can be put on backwards to do a 1' path, but top of tiller is still big and can damage between plants, one of those mantis tillers look pretty good

Pictures above from all the members who posted them look great. I'm overdue to take pic's of this summer's vegetable garden...even though it's doing just fine.
I'm mainly a tomato grower, along with a few onions, peppers and cuccumbers...just what we enjoy eating. Maybe tomorrow I'll get some pic's if it's bright and sunny.
Vegetable are good for my weight reduction program.(ha) But...I eat too many burgers and fries and probably cancel out all their benefits.
My compost pile behind my garden get's watered every time I water the vegetables. I'm collecting grass clippings and have done so since early spring. Also, I'm using the same garden plot which I've used since 1968. In late fall I add two bags of pelletized lime to the garden and rototill in everything several times.
Surprisingly, this garden also includes six volunteer Jet Star tomato volunteer plants, plus my usual eight vines. It'll be interesting to see if it's fruit tastes the same. Being a hybrid, I don't know if the plant reverts back to it's previous type.
