The fishing is great! Pistols Plus is over priced on almost everything, the only reason to go is to look at the museum, and maybe they might have a good deal every once in a blue moon.

There are better deals and shops around. Such as:
1. Eddie's Fin Feather and Fur which is in Montreal just like 5 miles from Camdenton(might be hard to find, but well worth the drive, this is probably the best shop in at least a 50 mile radius)

2. Jacks Sporting Goods in Camdenton(probably the best mix of fishing, hunting, guns, camping, and farm suppy place I've seen)

3. Action Arms in Eldon(very small place, and hard to find, but he's got some really good stuff)

4. Giers Bass Pro in Eldon(not sure if he sells guns, but he's got ammo, and all kinds of other stuff.

5. There are also several decent pawn shops, and several Lake towns I missed like Laurie(I know there is a good gun shop over there) Versallies, and Sunrise Beach, that may also have decent shops.

Sorry for the long post, but I live at the Lake, and most people I know who go to Pistols Plus leave angry. I bought 2 guns there, but I didn't know any better at the time. I think I paid about the right price for my Marlin 336 with the scope(around $350), but I paid way to much for a Nagant Revolver that was in not good shape(I paid $150), and they don't really negotiate much either.

Basically what I'm saying is the only people I know that actually like Pistols Plus have a lot of money and not enough sense to shop around. No offense to anyone who likes to actually buy stuff there, maybe they got good deals, or nice sales people those days, but the only use I and many people have for the place is to window shop. It's like Bass Pro at the Lake only not as nice.

dwrestle, every time I go to pistol plus it's because of judge conferences. They do have the coolest muesum though
