Hey Joe,

How much did it set you back? A buddy of mine just paid 549.00 at a Gun Show in Mesquite, TX last weekend. It was the first time I saw it for under 600.00.

The lower price makes it very tempting...

Actually your price is not bad at all. My friend's XDM is all black and yours has the SS slide. As I remember, that version did go for around 60.00 more than the all black version.

Enjoy and send out a range report after you break her in. RT

Congrats. I love mine. I feel it is by far the best 9MM I have ever shot. I like my 9MM Subcompact XD too but the XDM is just a fun gun to shoot and accurate as can be. Shoot safe and enjoy.

same as mine here in ATL. the sticker was 639. i told the guy i could take my business to the guy that had it for 579. he gave in for 629. mines the black on black though. i like the bi-tone. check yours and see if it will allow the mags to be inserted with a full 19 rds with the slide closed. one of mine will and one wont. guess which one has +p in it?

$549 is a great price. I think I pain $609 delivered to my dealer and he charges $30 to receive it. I got it when Springfield was offering the 2 free Magazines to go with it. I love haveing four 19 round mags but it sure does make me go through the ammo a lot faster for some reason.

What a great pistol! It has the new design and simplicty of a polymer frame pistol with the natural feel, grip, and grip safety of a 1911.

Brilliant!

And I agree - it's the best 9mm I have ever shot.
