Range Report using my new setup and worked up loads!
Ok, I took my .308win Tikka T3 Lite to the range today to try out my new scope and to work up some handloads. I started out with 40.0gr of RL-15 powder and went to 40.5, 41.0, 41.5, 42.0, and 42,5. The best groups came from the 41.5 and the 42.0. I will have to work between them and and do a little more testing.
The other components I was using were 155gr Nosler HPBT bullets, R-P 308 win brass, and CCI 200 Large rifle primers. The C.O.L for all of them was 2.775".
I shot a 0.72" 5-shot group at 100yds using 42.0gr of powder. The other group was a little bigger because of a flyer but the four shots in that one were 0.44" using 41.5gr of powder.
If you want to read a little more about the scope and setup I was using, look at this link:
So did you wound the scope all the way to the left and count backwards to see if it was still shooting in the same spot? How did it hold zero and is the adjustments for windage and elevation repeatable? I need to know!!!
Well since I was working up loads, I couldn't really do a good accurate test because I didn't know if the next 5 loads would be in the same spot. I will make a batch of a whole bunch of the same grain of powder so I know the loads are shooting in the same spot and I will do the "adjustment" test with those. It may take a few days but I will get er done.

sweetness buddy! man I am so excited at the prospect of a good quality scope for 1/2 the price of the well established brands!
How is clarity at the range at lowest and maximum focus? Is it really clear? The one thing I hate is a fuzzy glass. And how generous is the eye relief at highest magnification? Is there wiggle room or do you have to be perfect on it every time? Also if you are going to do a prolonged range session how is eye fatigue looking through that scope? One thing many shooters don't factor in is if your eyes have to strain to focus or train on a subject it will tire it out and you get eye strain. Since I do alot of varmint hunting eye fatigue on crappy scopes is a factor for me.
Clarity is good from 4.5-18 at pretty much any range. The side parallax adjustment is very good for this. I wish it would have a little finer adjustment to it, but then I would be looking at getting a nightforce. There is enough eye relief at all settings. The eye relief is better at the lower setting (about 5") and gets smaller at 18x (about 3") but there is still enough room not to get hit. I was able to wiggle around a bit at all settings. I can move about 1/4" in all directions at the highest setting and about 1/2" at the lower setting. Because you can adjust the parallax, I was able to get the target clear and the crosshairs clear at the same time. This is a huge upgrade from my Tasco and it helps in not causing eye fatigue. With the Tasco, I had to stop looking through the glass after a few shots and let my eye rest. I was able to shoot 36 rounds with no fatigue at all through this scope. I didn't have to focus on the target and then on the crosshairs, and then on the target again. I just focused on the crosshairs and the target at the same time due to the optics. For this price range, I doubt anyone can do better. I think the next step up is the $1000 Nikon and then the Nightforce as far as mildots go with the features these scopes offer.
Other than the adjustment that I havn't worked yet, I really like the scope. I really don't think there will be any problems with the adjustments as I have read reviews by professional shooters who have tested this scope using the box test and they all said it goes back to zero every time with no problems. I think I linked a few of those reviews in the thread you posted in the optics section.
