Just starting to watch this topic on the web. Are there any other really good survival or prepare for when the SHTF web sites out there?

Thumbs up

Frugalsquirrels_dot_com is a very good site for Preppers - though they are heavy on the Christian bit, if that matters. LOTS of excellent info, well presented, with very good links to sources of food and survival gear too.

Survivalmonkey_dot_com is another good one - not as big, and a bit less formal. Good friendly folks though.

There are others if you use your Googlefu, but these two are the cream of the crop.

I grew up in Utah, and I knew a few people in the LDS church who thought that 'being prepared' was not only a nice idea, but their responsibility (gee, what a concept!) The Country Survival website has popped up on more than one random Google search for me, so it got bookmarked. It might be a little eccentric for some. I'll get to my own computer and post up my other links too =)
Oh yeah, this article by Paco Kelly is a good read IMHO, good suggestions for the trail.

m4040.com has a survival section. The rest I've found to be not so helpful, but the survival section isn't bad.
